Locality highlights - Howrah Railway Station

Howrah is one of the most prominent cities of Kolkata. It is located on the west bank of the Hoogli River and is the second largest city in the state of West Bengal. Connected with the state capital Kolkata by four bridges on the River Ganges, it is also known as the twin city of Kolkata.

Famous landmarks in Howrah include the Bridge, Railway Terminus and the Great Banyan Tree. Shibpur, Andul, Bankra, Uluberia and Liluah are some of the important localities of Howrah.
