Locality highlights - Nava Naroda
Naroda is a suburban area located to the northeast of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The area is situated on the developing Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad-Vadodara (GAV) corridor and its neighbouring areas include Krishnanagar, New India Colony, GIDC Naroda, Nikol and Khodiar Nagar. Reliance Industries Ltd., PepsiCo, Ingersoll- Rand and Dresser Industries are some of the multinational companies located in the area.
Naroda, which was earlier a neglected suburb, saw rapid development after the establishment of the Naroda Industrial Area. It has now been transformed into a bustling centre of activity and one of the most desired residential localities of Ahmedabad.
Connectivity
Naroda offers good road and rail connectivity. It is located close to major roads of Ahmedabad namely, the Gujarat State Highway 68, Sardar Patel Ring Road, Road and Canal Road and offers smooth connectivity to other important parts of the city. The locality is served by the AMTS buses and has its own bus terminus. It is also served by BRTS buses and is situated on line 2 that runs from Anjali (Vasna) to Naroda.
