Urapakkam, nestled between Tambaram and Chengalpattu, is known as the Gateway to South Chennai on the GST Road. Strategically located on NH-45, this locality enjoys its proximity to some of the fast developing corridors, namely, Vandalur-Kelambakkam Stretch, Outer Ring Road (Vandalur to Minjur) and the SP Koil – Oragadam-Sriperumbudur Road and these have contributed towards construction activities in Urapakkam.

Transport and Connectivity

This locality has a good transport system, one can easily find regular buses and share auto that can transport you to your destination. The nearest railway station is Tambaram, which helps the resident to travel easily to localities like Guindy, Nungambakkam, Kodambakkam, T.Nagar and Chennai central Station.
